F.H. Stoltze Land & Lumber provides comprehensive forestland management assistance to private landowners. Our foresters are college trained professionals and active members of the Society of American Foresters and the Montana Tree Farm System. We can assist you in accomplishing your goals whether they are fuels reduction, forest health, improved wildlife habitat, enhanced recreation, revenue, or all of the above.

 

Stoltze only contracts with loggers who are accredited through the Montana Logging Association and participate in continuing education programs to stay current on the latest Best Management Practices guidelines for forestry and the Streamside Management Zone Law.

  

The goal for this landowner was to improve forest health and increase forage production.

We thinned the trees from below leaving the healthiest trees to benefit from the increased sunlight, water, and nutrients and allowing more sunlight to reach the forest floor.
